From Odon Bujwid to the present time - the history of IBSS BIOMED S.A.

- Establishing Vaccine Production Plant on the initiative of the director of the Medical Microbiology Institute at Jagiellonian University in Cracow Prof. Zdzisław Przybyłkiwicz, MD, PhD.
- Setting up a production team made of people who rendered great service to the Polish science: Tadeusz Korzybski, Jan Kostrzewski, Włodzimierz Kuryłowicz and Stefan Ślopek.
- Starting the vaccine production, among others: vaccine against the exanthematous fever, typhoid fever, pseudo-typhus and dysentery, so-called “Penty.” |

- Plant reorganization and an foundation of the Serum and Vaccine Manufactory Unification “BIOMED,” having its seats in Cracow, Warsaw and Lublin.
- Extending the Manufactory’s base in Cracow with the private Serum and Vaccine Production Plant of prof. Odon Bujwid – an associate of Louis Pasteur. |
