prOVag gel®
prOVag gel® is a specialised medical device in the form of a gel for prevention and treatment supporting intimate infections and mitigation of the effects of these infections.
prOVag gel® contains valuable substances for women, produced naturally by lactic acid bacteria, the so-called metabolites (e.g. lactic acid, bacteriocins, active organic acids). Helps maintain physiological acidic pH, thus ensuring natural protection of intimate areas against the development of unfavourable bacterial flora. Demonstrates antifungal and antibacterial activity against microorganisms most often causing intimate infections (including C. albicans, C. glabrata, G. vaginalis, E. coli, S. agalactiae).
prOVag gel® does not contain preservatives, dyes and potential allergens. It is recommended for women and children from the age of three, as well as for people susceptible to allergies and irritations. After application, the mucous membrane is moisturised, refreshed and possible irritations are alleviated.
It is efficient and comfortable to use, without leaving underwear dirty. Its practical packaging is sufficient for 100 applications. The product has been dermatologically and gynaecologically tested.

Instructions of use
prOVag gel® is recommended for women and children prone to dryness of external genital organs, natural microflora disorders and recurrent inflammations. prOVag gel® can be used daily or temporarily in order to:
- support the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections of the intimate areas,
- maintain the microflora of the intimate surroundings,
- alleviate the symptoms of bacterial or fungal infection (burning and itching sensation, discomfort),
- maintain physiological, acidic pH,
- prophylactically in the conditions of increased inflammation risk in the intimate areas (antibiotic therapy, menopause, pregnancy, after delivery, in diabetes, during travel, after hair removal, at the sauna, swimming pool etc.).
Dosage
After washing the intimate area, apply a thin layer of prOVag gel® to the perineal area and external genital area. The gel should be applied from the front towards the anus. Usually, one gel application once per day is enough for one night. The gel can be used 2 – 3 times a day if necessary.
